Ticket&Venue strives to ensure user satisfaction with every transaction. Below are our guidelines for refunds, cancellations, and event-related disputes.


1. General Policy

  • All ticket sales are considered final once a booking is confirmed.
  • Refunds are only issued if:
    • An event is canceled by the organizer
    • There is a major change to the event’s date, time, or venue
    • The user was charged multiple times for the same ticket

2. Event Cancellation

If an event is canceled:

  • Ticket&Venue will notify all ticket holders via email.
  • A full refund (ticket price + applicable service fees) will be processed automatically within 7–14 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

3. Event Postponement or Rescheduling

If an event is rescheduled:

  • Original tickets remain valid for the new date.
  • If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you may request a refund within 7 days of the notice.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • You decide not to attend for personal reasons
  • You missed the event due to late arrival or misinformation
  • Your device or internet failed during virtual events
  • You failed to meet organizer requirements (e.g., age limit, ID verification)

5. How to Request a Refund

Eligible users can submit refund requests by emailing:

  • Full Name
  • Event Name
  • Order Number
  • Reason for the request

Requests will be reviewed within 3 business days.


6. Processing and Payment

  • Approved refunds are processed via the original payment gateway (Paystack or Squadco).
  • Refund timeframes may vary depending on bank processing speeds.
  • Ticket&Venue is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or banking institutions.

7. Partial Refunds

In some cases, a partial refund may be granted if only part of the service or event was canceled or disrupted (e.g., canceled speaker session, delayed start).


8. Organizer Disputes

If you dispute the fulfillment or quality of an event, we encourage you to contact the organizer first. Ticket&Venue can mediate, but is not liable for service fulfillment unless otherwise stated.
